Marshfield Medical Center-Minocqua welcomes three
nursing managers for the new hospital under construction in Minocqua – Becky
Lenz, emergency department, Kristina Krueger, obstetrics department and Patti
Kerkorian, inpatient department.
"We are very happy to have our management team now established for the new hospital creating a high quality, patient-centric delivery model," said Jackie Frombach, eastern region chief nursing officer.
Lenz, who brings over 10 years of nursing experience with a strong emphasis in emergency nursing, said she found her love for the nursing profession through her service in the U.S. Army. Lenz grew up in the Minocqua area and is happy to be returning with her husband and four children.
Krueger is a long-time Minocqua area resident with over 10 years of nursing experience and leadership roles, including cardiac care and obstetrics. She also served in the U.S. Army with one tour overseas. Krueger has a passion for women's health.
Kerkorian has over 20 years of various nursing quality, clinical, and leadership roles, highlighting intermediate and cardiac care. She has a passion for providing safe, quality patient care.
The new Marshfield Medical Center-Minocqua hospital is on schedule for opening in April 2020. The 72,000 square foot addition to the Minocqua Center building will be equipped with:
- 12 private patient rooms and two flexible overflow rooms.
- Surgery center with four operating rooms and three procedure rooms.
- Birthing center with four private rooms for labor and delivery, and dedicated C-section room for planned or urgent deliveries.
- Emergency services.
- Imaging and lab space, radiology, pharmacy and more.
"Our team is working diligently to address all the complex needs of opening an advanced, state-of-the-art hospital in this community," said Mike Dowdy, chief administrative officer.
