Question: What can I do to make my face look younger?

Most middle-aged people would prefer to look a little younger. With Botox® and the cosmetic fillers now available, you can conveniently achieve a younger look without surgery.

Botox

Many people have “frown line” wrinkles between the eyebrows, wrinkles in the forehead or “crow’s feet,” the wrinkles that reach out from the corners of the eyes.

Botox injections temporarily paralyze the muscles that cause these wrinkles.

I also often use Botox for men and women with drooping eyebrows. We see results within 72 hours.

Cosmetic Fillers

For those with finer wrinkles in the lower part of the face, I use Juvederm®, a hyaluronic acid filler, or Radiesse, a microparticle filler.

These fillers are injected into the deep layers of the skin and into the tissue below the skin that thins and loses elasticity as we age.

Fillers are ideal for smoothing out nasolabial folds, the creases running from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Fillers are also ideal for facial folds in the lower face, for correcting wrinkles in the upper lip, for making thin lips plump and to correct jowls.

Results are often immediate, and last up to a year.
