Aim for a Cure

The 2014 Aim for a Cure will take place the first weekend in August. Last year, the first annual Aim for a Cure was held at the Blackhawk Archers Club in Custer, Wisconsin. 37 skilled individuals participated in an IBO qualifying archery shoot which raised over $1,300 for cancer research.

Laura Lauer the Blackhawk Archers’ Board Secretary was very pleased with the turn out, “Not only were we blessed with beautiful weather but we were able to lay the foundation for great new event that will help raise needed funds for cancer research while archers enjoy friendly competition.

Aim for a Cure was produced by family and friends in memory of Richard Lepak. Richard was avid Club member as well as a community leader who started the Blackhawk Archery Club over 30 years ago, along with his dedicated wife Rita Lepak.
