Target Audience
This convention is intended for scientists, physicians and physicians-in-training, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, emergency department and emergency medical providers, advanced practice clinicians, pharmacists, and students.
Registration
Advanced registration is required (limited seating).

Location
The convention will be hybrid, live in-person and virtual options are available. Live in-person attendance is the preferred format. In case the current situation around COVID has not stabilized, MCHS reserves the right to switch the convention to a virtual only format, more details to be provided as the date approaches. Please note, those attending in person must be vaccinated.

Call for Abstracts and Case Reports
Accepted abstracts and reports will be published in the official program and presented by poster or in plenary session at the convention. All submissions will be eligible for awards based on scientific merit, originality, category, and submission score.
April 5, 2022 – Deadline for abstract submission
April 19, 2022 – Decision date for abstract acceptance and presentation format
Call for Late-Breaking Abstracts (update 4/7/2022)
We have decided to accept late-breaking abstract submissions for presentation at the Fourth Annual Convention of the Wisconsin Regional Pediatric Critical Care Consortium on May 17, 2022. Late-breaking abstracts will be eligible for presentation at the convention but will not be eligible for awards. Given time constraints, late-breaking abstracts may not be reviewed by the entire peer-review committee.

Abstract Requirements
Submissions should be formatted in Microsoft Word—double spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font—and contain 300 words or less, excluding the title, section headings, author information, and table or figure legends.
Up to one table and one figure or photograph may accompany each submission. References are not necessary. Both research and quality-improvement abstracts should contain Introduction, Methods, Results (or Anticipated Results), and Conclusions sections. Case reports should contain Introduction, Description, and Discussion sections.
Submissions are encouraged from all members of the pediatric critical care community, including scientists, physicians and physicians-in-training, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, emergency department and emergency medical providers, advanced practice clinicians, and students.
