Dr. Stacey Sperlingas spent about seven
years practicing family medicine at
Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center and
recently moved to the Chippewa Falls Center.
“I think my role is mostly to provide options
for my patients and help them decide on
their treatment,” she said. “I listen to people
and try to work with them to maintain or
improve their health. I especially enjoy seeing
children because that’s often a fun visit.”
Dr. Sperlingas grew up in Hixton, Wisconsin,
and earned her medical degree at the
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine
and Public Health in Madison. She completed
her residency in family medicine at the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She’s most proud of her three children and of her
two-year stint in the Peace Corps as a public health educator and community development worker in Guinea, West Africa.
“My time in the Peace Corps made me really appreciate all that we have here, from decent roads to amazing health care,” she said. That area of Africa is where the most recent outbreak of the Ebola virus started, years after she left.
Dr. Sperlingas enjoys traveling and spending time with her young family,
often at soccer games.
