Women's health has long been Katie VanDreese’s passion, and through education, she aims to empower patients to take control of their own health.
“Let’s give women the tools to make the best decision for themselves and their families alike,” she said. “My responsibility is to provide support and education that best fits each individual with the midwifery standard of excellence.”
As a certified nurse midwife, VanDreese said her goal is provide woman- and family-centered care to meet the goals in life, labor and health of her patients. She encourages patients to ask any questions.
VanDreese was raised in Chippewa Falls, and has come to love the area, living close to her parents, siblings and their growing families.
“My husband and I met while attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and enjoy calling the Chippewa valley our home,” she said.
In the summer, the couple spends their time playing kubb, gardening, and letting their dog get muddy in streams and lakes. During the winter, she said they stay busy snowshoeing (sometimes into work), skiing, playing winter (ice) kubb, and indoor gardening.
