After watching her mom work as a nurse, Heather Conn was inspired to become a nurse, and continued to advance her career. Through her practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she found a strong passion and compassion for women's health care and became a Certified Nurse Midwife.
“I enjoy forming positive relationships, and being able to be part of my patients' journey through wellness exams, pregnancy, menopause and more," she said.
Conn cares for patients during their pregnancy including lactation services postpartum. Additionally, she can provide annual wellness visits, treat vaginal health concerns, and offer menopause care and intimacy health education.
“I enjoy being an active listener and creating relationships to help meet health care needs in all aspects of their life," Conn said.
After her experience training as a student nurse midwife with Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire, she knew she wanted to practice at Marshfield Clinic Health System.
She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her post-graduate certificate as a Certified Nurse Midwife from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky.
Conn and her husband, Jon, have a son, Colton. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, running and fishing with her family.
