Housing and Meal Information

Marshfield Clinic makes housing available to students in a credited clinical rotation confirmed by the Division of Education. A Division of Education coordinator will provide these students with specific housing and/or meal information as it applies to their specific clinical rotation. Housing may be available at the following locations:

Marshfield, Minocqua, Eau Claire, Rice Lake, and Ladysmith, WI

Marshfield Center/Saint Joseph's Hospital (Marshfield, Wisconsin)

• Bedrooms may be double occupancy. All apartments are provided with furnishings. Irons, ironing boards, microwaves, TVs and coffee makers are also provided in each apartment for your use. Sheets will be provided, but you are responsible to bring mattress pads, pillows, blankets, cleaning supplies, personal care items such as toiletries, towels, etc. Daily cleaning is expected for upkeep of your assigned apartment. • The apartment complex is located within 3 blocks of the medical facility.
• Telephones are located in each apartment. Unlimited long distance coverage is provided only with in the United States. Basic cable programming and wireless internet access is provided in each apartment.
• Meal cards for Saint Joseph’s Four Seasons cafeteria are available for a fee of $150.00 per four weeks.

Minocqua Center (Minocqua, Wisconsin):

• Housing may be available during certain times of the year with advanced reservation. The two bedrooms are double occupancy and furnishings are provided. Iron, ironing board, microwave, TVs and coffee maker are also provided for your use. You are responsible to bring mattress pads, pillows, twin sheets, blankets, towels, washcloths, toiletries, and alarm clocks. Daily cleaning is expected for upkeep of your assigned apartment. • The house is located within 10 miles of Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center.

Eau Claire Center (Eau Claire, Wisconsin):

• A three bedroom, two level house is provided and includes a kitchen, living room, TV, DVD, etc. For more information see Student Housing Regulations. A room at the hospital is provided when you are on call. This room is generally a CCU patient room with TV and shower. Laundry facilities are available on premises for a nominal charge. Having a car to drive is recommended.

Rice Lake Center (Rice Lake, Wisconsin):

• A two bedroom lodge is provided and includes a kitchen, living room, TV, DVD, etc. For more information see Student Housing Regulations. No laundry facilities are available on premises. Laundry facilities are located in town. Having a car to drive is recommended.
