Student Programs

Marshfield Clinic annually provides over 900 students with nearly 1,500 educational experiences throughout its system of care. These experiences consistently offer students:

• A high quality, friendly and supportive learning experience
  
• Extensive interaction with clinic staff, physicians and residents who are enthusiastic about teaching
  
• An excellent medical library and electronic resource network to support the reading and study component of your educational experience. The library is open to students and medical staff 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  
• Numerous and diverse ongoing conferences to choose from daily, ranging from core curriculum to research
  

Numerous educational opportunities

As an Academic Campus of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Marshfield Clinic also provides a variety of clinical and educational experiences for students of every level including medical (senior and junior), midwife, nurse practitioner, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant and a variety of health care programs within the technical college system.

Offshore/International Schools

We are unable to host requests from offshore/international schools at this time. However, electives with the Marshfield Clinic System can also be scheduled through the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. This may be necessary for those students whose medical school only permits elective experiences within other medical schools or if you are registered with an International or Offshore Medical School. The Marshfield Clinic System is a clinical campus of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
