Oral, Facial Surgery Center opens May 30

A second Marshfield Clinic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center will open May 30. It is in the Weston Crossing complex, 4107 Barbican Ave., off Camp Phillips Road, near the Highway 29 interchange.

A complete range of facial surgery services will be available, including facial cosmetic surgery, dental implants, oral surgery and facial reconstruction. The center will be staffed by Marshfield Clinic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Patrick Kline, M.D., D.M.D. and Weiguang Ma, D.D.S., M.D.S, Ph.D., all of whom will also continue to see patients at the Clinic’s Wausau Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center at 2600 Stewart Ave.

“This was an opportunity to plan from the ground up to make this a very positive experience for the patient,” Dr. Kline said. “The new center will be comfortable, convenient and aesthetically pleasing, with a spa-like atmosphere. Private consultation areas and separate exits place a premium on privacy and individualized treatment.”

“We can cater to our customers’ needs on both ends of town, providing convenient care close to home,” said Sandra Anklam, Marshfield Clinic patient care manager.

The new center is conveniently located for patients in the Wittenberg, Weston-Rothschild-Schofield area and beyond. While many services will be performed at the new center, it is located near the Weston Regional Medical Center if hospital care is needed. “I’m very excited about being able to locate my practice so close to a state-of-the-art hospital facility,” said Dr. Ma.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons evaluate and treat disorders of the teeth, bones and soft tissues of the maxillofacial region, including facial aging, skeletal jaw deformities, traumatic injury and lesions. Facial cosmetic services include facelifts, eyelid rejuvenation, brow lifts, chin augmentation and injectable treatments, such as Botox® and Restylane®.
