MARSHFIELD CLINIC NAMES NEW CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Teri Wilczek of Marshfield has been named Marshfield Clinic’s Chief Development Officer.
Wilczek will lead Marshfield Clinic’s fund-raising efforts for research, education and patient care. Her responsibilities will include meeting with donors and prospects, strategic planning, working closely with Clinic departments to help advance their efforts and overseeing the Development Department.
Wilczek, who has been with Marshfield Clinic since 2001, had been manager of Development operations since February 2008.
Wilczek said Development will focus on growing endowments, grateful patient efforts, special campaigns, regional development, employee giving, donor stewardship, public relations, special events and volunteer fund raising.
A native of Greenwood, Wilczek earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a master’s degree from Capella University, Minneapolis. She has managed and coordinated annual giving and special projects and events. Prior to joining Marshfield Clinic to help develop the Personalized Medicine Research Project, she was assistant principal of Columbus Catholic High School and principal of Holy Family Middle School in Marshfield.
The Marshfield Clinic system provides patient care, research and education with 48 locations in northern, central and western Wisconsin, making it one of the largest comprehensive medical systems in the United States.
