SERRES JOINS STAFF AT MARSHFIELD CLINIC CHIPPEWA FALLS DENTAL CENTER
Brian Serres, D.D.S., has joined the staff at Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls Dental Center, 850 Lakeland Drive, Chippewa Falls.
Serres joins Michaelangelo Aust, D.D.S.; Emily Barnes, D.D.S.; Charles Enwald, D.D.S.; Ronald Hager, D.D.S.; Randolph Larue, D.D.S.; James McCarthy, D.D.S.; Shawn McFarlane, D.D.S.; Justin Sjulson, D.D.S.; and Richard Wilkinson, D.M.D. to provide dental care to patients at Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls Dental Center
“I chose to join Marshfield Clinic because it has a great reputation and I believe strongly in its mission,” Serres said. “In particular, I wanted to provide care to underserved populations in a setting that included hospital dentistry.”
Serres earned his dentistry degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Minneapolis.
“I became a dentist because I wanted to work in health care in an area of need,” Serres said. “Dentistry is a field in which doctors can make immediate, positive changes in their patients’ lives.”
Oral health care is an important aspect of a patient’s overall health, according to Serres.
“Research continues to find direct links to oral diseases and other systemic health problems such as cardiovascular disease, stroke and bacterial pneumonia,” he said. “Additionally, tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease and is a leading cause of missed school days.”
Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls Dental Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
