MARSHFIELD CLINIC TO HOST WISCONSIN AGRISAFE® TRAINING CONFERENCE
Marshfield Clinic will host the first Wisconsin AgriSafe® Training Conference, Thursday – Saturday, November 12 – 14, in the Lawton Center at Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield.
This AgriSafe Training course is the first in Wisconsin to offer a core curriculum in agricultural medicine and health and safety. It is designed to train rural health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of agricultural occupational illnesses and injuries.
This is an AgriSafe-approved training. The AgriSafe certification allows health care professionals to join AgriSafe as a Provider Member, receive the clinical resources, technical assistance, continuing education and use the trademarked name, AgriSafe, in promoting agricultural health services.
Course Director, Steven R. Kirkhorn, M.D., M.P.H., FACOEM, medical director, National Farm Medicine Center and Occupational Health, Marshfield Center, will facilitate a program that is intended for primary care physicians, residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other allied health care professionals.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. This activity has also been approved for credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc.
