Marshfield Clinic will host the 6th Annual Orthopaedic Conference on Friday, December 4, at the Stoney Creek Inn, Rothschild.

Orthopaedic care is ever changing and one of the fastest growing areas within health care. After attending this conference, participants will understand the current trends and changes in the orthopaedic care area and be better prepared to care for patients presenting with orthopaedic issues.

General session topics will include:

• Differential Diagnosis of Hip Pain
• Correction of Scoliosis and Complex Spinal Deformities
• Shoulder Impingement Syndrome
• Common Hand Problems
• Management of Shoulder Arthritis, and
• The Aging Spine

There will also be several workshops to choose from including:

• Splinting Workshops
• Knee Physical Examination
• Shoulder Rehabilitation
• Pediatric Rehab Topics
• Shoulder Examination
• Hip Examination, and
• Patellofemoral Rehab Strategies

The program is intended for primary care physicians, residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, occupational and physical therapists, athletic trainers and other interested allied health professionals.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. In addition, Marshfield Clinic is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc., to offer continuing education for certified athletic trainers. Marshfield Clinic has also applied for CE credit from the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association (WPTA).
