MARSHFIELD CLINIC RICE LAKE CENTER TO HOST EDUCATION PROGRAM ON BARIATRIC SURGERY
Marshfield Clinic will be hosting a program on bariatric surgery at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in the first floor conference room at Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center, 1700 W. Stout Street, Rice Lake.
The program will feature presentations by Timothy Pitchford, M.D., and Emeka Acholonu, M.D., who will speak about bariatric surgery and take questions from those in attendance. A patient who has undergone bariatric surgery will also talk at the event. In addition to bariatric surgery, other topics that will be covered include dietary and lifestyle changes, insurance issues, and follow-up care.
