PEDIATRICIAN JOINS MARSHFIELD CLINIC MINOCQUA CENTER
Pediatrician Jenalin Uy, M.D., has joined Joanna Gudel, M.D., and Sanjeev Jain, M.D., in the Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center Pediatrics Department, providing complete children’s health care from birth through adolescence.
Uy received her medical education in the Philippines and completed her pediatric residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York.
“I joined the Pediatrics department of Marshfield Clinic because I was impressed by the caring, compassion and dedication of the providers and staff. They specialize in helping to keep children as healthy as they can be and aid them in developing into healthy adults. The caliber of care provided by Marshfield Clinic is very good,” said Uy. “I wanted to move here because I have family who live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Practicing here offers me the chance to be closer to family.”
Uy offers a holistic approach to children’s health care.
“The referral system and easy access to specialists is another wonderful aspect of the service we can provide for children and their families,” she said.
Pediatricians at Marshfield Clinic specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses, allergies and sports injuries, and provide infant through adolescent well-child physicals, immunizations and ADD/ADHD testing and evaluation.
“We are very happy to have Dr. Uy join our Pediatrics team,” said Caroline Fender, manager, Primary Care, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. “She is a very compassionate pediatrician and has the education and experience that will greatly benefit children and families in our community.”
In her personal time, Uy enjoys swimming, biking and cooking. She is fluent in many languages including English, Filipino, Fukien and Ibanag.
