Projects & Products

Since 1981 the National Farm Medicine Center has researched and developed many health and safety resources.

Adult Health & Safety is a repository of resources such as Harvesting Health, a series of hand outs with prevention information; Operation Hat Check, a prevention initiative to reduce sun-related damage; and Ergonomics of Back Pain in Farmers, which can help determine back-to-work recommendations for farmers with injuries.

Childhood Health & Safety is a link to the National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety website containing information, resources and research devoted to keeping children safe while engaged in work or while playing.

Cultivate is the newsletter of the National Farm Medicine Center, published to disseminate rural health and safety information, research and Center activities to stakeholders.

Reports is a list of resources such as the National Action Plan, Agritourism Health and Safety Guidelines for Children, Personal Circumstances, Concerns and Needs of Women on Wisconsin Dairy Farms and WI Farm Related Fatalities 1996-2005.

Roll Over Protection Structures Guide is a tool to find rollover protective structures (ROPS) for tractors.
