Epidemiologic Programmer/Analyst

The Epidemiologic Programmer Analyst will provide support for epidemiologic studies initiated by scientists within the Marshfield Epidemiology Research Center (MERC). The individual will use a wide variety of computer software to create data entry applications and manage, transform, analyze, and report data from diverse research projects. He/she will become familiar with other MERC-related databases (VSD, CRN, CVRN) in order to provide cross-over coverage.
The Epidemiologic Programmer Analyst will also assist the MESA Epidemiologic Programmer Analyst and will function as a collaborator on projects as needed related to the Marshfield Epidemiologic Study Area (MESA), a dynamic cohort of Marshfield Clinic patients residing in a defined region of central and northern Wisconsin.
The Epidemiologic Programmer Analyst will be expected to function as an active member of research project teams. He/she will provide input and advice to investigators regarding use and manipulation of data to answer research questions.
