Other divisions of the Marshfield Clinic also conduct research, for which the Research Foundation has oversight, research compliance, and stewardship responsibilities. The Marshfield Clinic Division of Laboratory Medicine and Applied Sciences conducts research in Food Safety, some related to veterinary medicine, and in Molecular Diagnostics. Marshfield Clinic's Informatic Systems conducts research in medical informatics and provides informatic support for a wide range of applied and basic science.
