Whether it be the lives we touch today with our leading-edge knowledge and quality care or the professional lives we train who will care for us tomorrow, education is the key. That is why education is one of the three pillars of the Clinic’s mission (high quality patient care, research, and education). Appling this mission in one of the largest multi-specialty group medical practices in the United States, has made Marshfield Clinic a national leader in medical and health education. In no small part this vision has been sustained through the generosity of its physicians, alumni, community, educational, and individual partnerships. Every contribution to the Education Foundation, be it faculty involvement, mentorship, technology, or financial, makes a difference.

Your gift to the Education Foundation of time, talent, technology, or financial resources creates a partnership in the lives of others. The end result is to reduce the burden of illness and disease and improve the quality of life. Currently, several partnership opportunities exist, ranging from personalized scholarships to endowments and naming opportunities. Some of the specific needs include:

• Expanding individual training opportunities for local students.
• Partnering with communities to identify and secure health care workers for the future.
• Enhancing patient safety through simulation labs and learning experiences.
• Equipping patients with accurate and current health and medical information.
• Expanding and sustaining residencies that will maintain and enhance the level of specialty care in Wisconsin.
