Rich Seubert’s Celebrity Trap Shoot was another huge success. The event on April 18, 2009 in Eau Claire, WI, generated $182,000 for heart research at Marshfield Clinic.

More than 180 shooters and nearly 100 spectators attended the event. A trap shoot competition was held at Eau Claire Rod & Gun Club. The event included a 50 target shoot, the chance to shoot with a celebrity and an extreme shooting performance by Patrick Flanigan.

Rich, an offensive lineman for the New York Giants and Central Wisconsin native, started this event in 2008 to raise money for heart research at Marshfield Clinic. His grandmother, Celine Seubert, is a 22-year heart transplant survivor thanks to advancements made in heart care through research. Rich hosts the event each year in honor of his grandmother.

Accompanying Rich at this year’s event were other members of the New York Giants: #67 Kareem McKenzie; #51 Zak DeOssie; #57 Chase Blackburn; and #39 Madison Hedgecock.

Following the trap shoot a dinner banquet was held at The Florian Gardens. Guests were treated to a wine tasting compliments of Scott Harvey Wines, dinner and auctions. Items up for bid on the silent auction and the live auction included once-in-a-lifetime hunting packages, wildlife prints, fabulous vacations and autographed sports memorabilia.

Thank you to all of the generous sponsors, participants and volunteers for making Rich Seubert’s Celebrity Trap Shoot a success!
