Marshfield Clinic Applied Sciences

Applied Sciences Division – Mission, Reference Materials and Contact Information

Mission

The mission of Marshfield Clinic extends beyond patient care. Extensive research efforts provide new insights into the diagnosis and treatment of major health care concerns.

Some of this research leads to innovations in biotechnology that have commercial value. The Applied Sciences Division helps move innovation out of the laboratory and into the mainstream of health care.

Applied Sciences promotes the exchange of knowledge between patient care services and research programs by helping to determine the commercial potential of advances. The Division works to align research projects with health care needs and assists in the patent process.

The culmination of clinical care, research, laboratory testing, education and public health services differentiate Marshfield Clinic from all other health care providers. By combining these services, Marshfield Clinic offers providers and patients access to innovative technology, leading to comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of illness, disease and infection.
