About Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire Center
Note: Administrative offices, including Human Resources, are located at:
Marshfield Clinic Clairemont Center
1002 West Clairemont Avenue
Eau Claire, WI 54701
Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire Center has grown significantly
since 1994. This growth includes construction of a 90,000 square foot
state-of-the-art facility that opened in 1999 and a 55,000 square foot addition
that opened October 1, 2007.
The new addition houses an ambulatory
surgery center (ASC), state-of-the-art imaging center and cosmetic and plastic
surgery department. It also includes unfinished space for future
development. This addition provides much needed space for current operations
and allows Marshfield Clinic to expand programs that have been limited by lack of space.
The ASC is located on the ground floor of the addition
and occupies approximately 20,500 square feet. The ASC includes four operating
rooms and three procedure rooms, with space for pre-operative care and
post-operative recovery, including a separate pediatric recovery area.
The 11,500-square-foot state-of-the-art imaging center is located on the lower level of the addition and features a special women’s
imaging area with two digital Siemens mammography systems, bone densitometry and
ultrasound services. Our new imaging services include CT, Nuclear Medicine,
and MRI. The new CT service uses a Siemens Sensation 64 slice computed tomography (CT) scanner and
is capable of performing CTA studies of the coronary arteries. The MRI service
features a 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Espree which is ‘head out and feet first’
for most exams making for a more pleasurable imaging experience for our
claustrophobic and oversized patients. The new Nuclear Medicine service uses
a Siemens Symbia SPECT/CT scanner and has the ability to fuse functional data
with the anatomical data for more accurate diagnosis.
The Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Department occupies 2,200 square feet
in the lower level of the addition and includes exam and consultation rooms, a
procedure room, and an education and conference room with a separate entry for patient
privacy.
